We have a Womens Group, this is a group for older women to share time together and be independent to do tasks together such as cooking, craft and arts. Each women can bring forward an idea about what they would like to do within the group. It is women led.
– Langauge cafe every Thursday with volunteers and EVS volunteers:
This is a mixed group of people but gives women the oppotinity to bring their chidren and learn Swedish. These women might not have yet been given residency or right to access school. It allows them to meet local people and international volunteers.
– English Speaking cafe: this is a mixed group of younger people with the oppitunuty for younger women to learn an additional language in formal ways and fun games and activities. This will give them the oppitunuty to take part in international projects in the future and allow them to better themselves and make new friends from a range of backgrounds and cultures.
